It was a massive honour to be invited to contribute to this year’s Candlelight Vigil for Manchester Pride. Thank you for supporting if you were there and if you missed it, here’s your YouTube watch link.
OMFG. It is a rare occasion when I am lost for words but the secret is out –Β I will be closing Homobloc in a B2B with the legend and icon known as The Blessed Madonna.
Tune in live to my Radio One Dance Essential Mix on Saturday 18th of February from midnight- 02:00AM (GMT) on 97-99FM and online on BBC Sounds. It will be available for listen back on Sounds for 30 days after broadcast. Enjoy.
It is my greatest honour to receive the DJ Mag Top 100 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award. I accepted this award on behalf of Manchester – it’s such a rare occasion when anything like this is awarded North of Watford plus I have a sneaking suspicion that I am the first woman (black woman) to win it which makes it even more special and historic. This is also to prove that you don’t have to be an Instagram influencer with millions of followers to make your mark. If you can make a difference, be fearless and make a difference. This is also for anyone who gets knocked down nine times and stands up ten. I see you. And so do they.
September’s all star guest for the Paulette Takeover on Reform Radio is Razor N Tape’s JKRIV – we are not worthy.
DJ PAULETTE presents TOGETHER is about bringing all the DJs and the Manchester community together β waking up and gently moving out of the lockdown to celebrate as one at our mini festival in the sunshine. It’s on from May 31 – August 13, 2021. Read on.
ANTON STEVENS – DIRECTOR OF HIDDEN CLUB (MANCHESTER) is next in my line of men you should know about. He’s a music loving Mancunian born and bred, a Leeds University graduate, a techno dj, an events organiser and promoter, a club director, a blindfold-level nappy changer and a grafter who eats hard work for breakfast. He is the Director of Hidden Club in Manchester aka Anton Fitz (DJ) with a 360 understanding of clubbing from artist to promotion, marketing and events and he gives a deep insight into where his natural affinity to the job comes from and the behind the scenes graft required to take him from being a 13 year old schoolboy handing flyers out for his birthday party to maturing into a keen business man who can keep one of Manchester’s finest underground clubs running like clockwork even during the pandemic.
Next stop on the HEAR HEAR journey around the world for International Women’s month (because a day is nowhere near enough time to show all the women who influence and inspire us some love) is Manchester. She’s a Proper Mancunian with a heart of gold and I’m honoured to have gained an audience with this absolute Queen.

Last Wednesday (October 3rd) I took part in the Skiddle Mental Health event that was held at Joshua Brookes. The focus of the discussion was a poll that Skiddle had commissioned, drawing some staggering statistics from a sample of events workers, organisations and promoters regarding the effects their work / jobs have on their mental health.
