It’s a rainy weekend for festivals but I’m representing hard for Manchester. Catch me this weekend at MIF, Beatherder and Glitterbox at Hi Ibiza.
This is the live stream that was shot by Steve Machin (Concert Vision) at my residency PEOPLE LIKE US at Escape To Freight Island for The Chill Out Tent After Party on the 21/05/21.
So here we are on the other side of Christmas and still in Tier 3. Just as well then that I will be playing music all through the day in the virtual world on New Year’s Eve. Catch me throughout the day bringing good cheer and peace to all with the Hacienda, Gaydio, Mixcloud, Reform Radio and We Out Here Festival. Lots of different flavours for all to enjoy and bring in the New Year in digital style.
The Christmas 🎄 Countdown starts now. Just seven sleeps to go before this bad boy hits the internet.
Great news. Even though we’re still in lockdown, I am over the moon to tell you that I am still making my debut for NYC Downlow at Glastonbury Festival this year. Perfectly socially distanced of course.
La Discotheque streamed a HUGE Discothèque into our homes on Saturday 2nd May (14:00-00:00) bringing live sets from Crazy P SoundSystem, Rob da Bank Fleetmac Wood PBR Streetgang lovebirds Red Rack’em DJ Paulette Bad Fun Sharples La Discothèque Performers to the middle of your isolation disco! It was the glitziest, sparkliest affair and this is what the stage looked like when I took over from Rob Da Bank.

A message from Mayor Andy Burnham re: United We Stream (GM) launching tonight 03/04/2020. Too exciting for words.
It is a rare occasion when the planets align in such a way that a great party, its solid line up and a banging set in a banging room is captured live for diffusion later. Here is the opening of my set from Homoelectric at Hidden, February 8, 2020 just for you.
Calling all party people. Here are your set times for Homoelectric at Hidden 08022020.
Big Weekend vibes. Without pausing for breath, I’m hopping on that train from London over to Leeds for the Flesh In Tension First Birthday party on February 15th 2020. I will be letting my wild side loose for a sleazy, freaky, FILTHY, techno, house and whatever set so be prepared – anything goes!
Homoelectric returns to its spiritual home at Hidden in Manchester for bass buggin spiritual outer space voodoo dancing. Homoelectric is for Homos, Lesbos, Don’t knows and Disko Asbos. Music is life. It’s been a while. I’m so ready to get saucy on that top floor…
Get sober. Stay fresh. Keep moving. Clubs / bars, brands and brewers are getting positively behind non-drinkers here in Manchester. Join us for a free daytime festival at Wilson’s Social The Low & No Festival – Free Entry on Saturday January 25th from midday till 5pm. Then roll with me to The Pen and Pencil from 8pm – 2am for seven hours of disco, funk and soul classics that will remind you what your dancing feet are for.
2020 is looking pretty special already. Save the date. I’ll see you on a dancefloor somewhere soon.
Seems to be the month for compliments. 2020 is looking like it’s going to be a pretty special year.
On Friday December 27th, LHM and The Cause team up to celebrate three decades of London house on Friday Dec 27th. Some of the capital’s most important (and enduring) house DJs, pivotal in moulding our city’s house scene over the last thirty years will keep you entertained from 6pm until 6am. All DJs held residencies or ran some of London’s most seminal house nights.
And finally – @homobloc @depotatmayfield it’s nearly show time so here are the all essential set times. Come ready to party inside and outside, bring dancing shoes and manifest sunshine. Last entry is at 5.30pm so don’t delay. See you on the dance floor.
Yes it’s that time again – it’s the last Bank Holiday of the year (so we all get a long break just when we needed it), the sun is most definitely OUT and everything and everywhere in Manchester is draped, painted, themed and chimes with the clarion call of Gay Pride. This is not a drill – we’re here, we’re queer, so it would be rude not to get into it 😀
I’m heading down south and racking up the Trainline and Virgin Trains loyalty points again. Catch me at White City House on Friday August 2nd, The Ned Pool Party with Dimitri from Paris on Saturday (afternoon) August 3rd and smashing the life out of the River Stage at The National Theatre on Saturday night. Too excited to type any more…
Homobloc – Mayfield Depot, Manchester – November 9th, 2019. Making history. And then some. Tickets go on sale Thursday July 11th at 9am.
People keep asking me where I am playing and when so here is a big old list for you to tick stuff off from. Welcome to your cut out and keep guide to my party diary for the next few months.
Here are your set times for this weekend’s festivities at Suffragette City (The Sequel) at The Refuge and La Discotheque at The Boiler Shop in Newcastle. See you on the dance floor.
I am always getting stopped in the street by people who were at the Black Coffee party at Mint Lounge in Manchester. I smashed the party that night and this is the closing set that did the damage (I played an equally well received, marvellous and eclectic opening set that sadly wasn’t recorded). I topped and tailed the headliners – Black Coffee – and Themba on May 6th 2018. The mix was a front page, featured ‘Mix Of The Month’ on the Evermix site (when they featured DJ mixes) and I was super proud of that.
Today I’m getting busy with it all over the place so here are the times and places that matter. Thank you for all of your support and love through 2018. Party sensibly, be good to yourself and those around you and see you next year for more of the same and even better! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Whoever decided that November was a good month to start thinking about hibernating must have been living in a cave. Oh they were. OK that explains it. We’re not though – and guess what – there is no time like the present to fill your social diary with shenanigans a plenty.
The leaves are fast falling, the heating is on and everyone is in full duvet – +1, Iplayer / Netflix / Amazon Prime bingernation mode. Yet hark? Who discos there? I hear twigs snap underfoot and a crisp, rustling of fresh dance floors deep in the City Centre forest. Follow the footprints to YES, Underdog and Albert’s Schloss …
Welcome to PAULETTE MAKES YOU MOVE a new, free, monthly Friday party at YES (Mcr) that rocks the house, tech and techno that Jill built because she knew how to Jack.
INCOMING … #onair #radio #studio whilst the Reform Radio studio is in uproar and the big move from Old Granada Studios is afoot – you still have your trusty DJ Paulette #takeover to get you through your #Tuesday – and every and any other afternoon.
We’re lollopping through the year at a fare pace now and hippety hopping into Easter with a brace of parties that should keep your booty jiggling through the Bank Holiday weekend and well into April.
I am massively excited to appear as the very special guest at Supernature on Sunday’s February party. This Sunday (25/02/18), the residents BB, Richie V and James the Cat are stepping in for an absent Rob Jones and I’ll be hoofing it straight from my Sunday Service at Schloss to close the proceedings with some disco, house and tech goodies in an hour of pure, unbridled mayhem.
Pride gets all Sunday on your ass with our glorious Handsome Party at Underdog on Sunday 27th of August. Dave Kendrick and Jamie Bull are crowning our right royal affair and I will be spreading the love like diamonds all over the goddamned place. Just like I do in this here mix.
My lovely boss, Dan (Pen and Pencil) is launching a disco club night called Lost In Music at Underdog (New Wakefield Street) here in Manchester, this one of a few in the pipeline and it’s happening on Friday July 28th.
Everybody down to Park Farm, Compton Verney in Warwickshire! Spend next weekend with us at the Also Festival and enjoy over 50 TED-style talks, our five stages packed with incredible music, comedy and fascinating masterclasses and experience our many bars and restaurants dotted around 50 acres of Capability Brown landscaped parkland.
Welcome to the Soul Clap Summer Series at XOYO, London. As the Boston-bred duo relocate to London-town for a month, they invite along a string of seminal acts to help soundtrack each party:
For week 2, XOYO regular and Playboy Mansion maestro, Dimitri from Paris is joined by legends Ashely Beedle and Paulette to bring us special 90’s sets and celebrate the return of YoYoYo 90’s Jam to London on Saturday 10th June.
☘️☘️☘️🌈🌈🌈 Happy and funky #StPatricksDay to one and all. Your entertainment tonight comes courtesy of #AndreaTrout and me tonight at Cottonopolis.
