DJ PAULETTE presents TOGETHER is about bringing all the DJs and the Manchester community together – waking up and gently moving out of the lockdown to celebrate as one at our mini festival in the sunshine. There’s food, there’s drink, it’s family AND dog friendly, it’s fully socially distanced fun, it’s enjoying music with real people IN REAL LIFE and best of all – it’s FREE. Over three beautiful days in August, the battle cry was ‘don’t let the virus get you down’ as We Out Here Festival and Reform Radio showed everybody how it’s done, provided the online, underground contrast, powerful political platform and the shining stage for talks, djs, artists and screenings for all that’s good from Manchester to London and around the world too.
Saturday 9th May 2020 sees The Hacienda throw open its distinctively numbered doors for “The Hacienda House Party II” with United We Stream Greater Manchester (GMCA’s fundraising streaming platform). Prepare yourself for another epic twelve hour session, as some of the greatest US DJ legends supply exclusive sets whilst many of The Hacienda’s finest residents play out from our secret lockdown studio straight out of the Greater Manchester region. I am honoured to be one of those residents and will be streaming live from 3pm – 4pm (BST).
Yes it’s that time again – it’s the last Bank Holiday of the year (so we all get a long break just when we needed it), the sun is most definitely OUT and everything and everywhere in Manchester is draped, painted, themed and chimes with the clarion call of Gay Pride. This is not a drill – we’re here, we’re queer, so it would be rude not to get into it 😀
