Great news. Even though we’re still in lockdown, I am over the moon to tell you that I am still making my debut for NYC Downlow at Glastonbury Festival this year. Perfectly socially distanced of course.
On March 12th I am honoured to welcome Nancy Noise (London) one of the true pioneers of acid and balearic house to the guest slot for International Women’s Day / Week / Month. Starting her career opening for the titan now known as Paul Oakenfold at Future and Spectrum in London and Amnesia in Ibiza. Fast forward to 2020 and you’ll see her headlining May Bank Holiday at The Refuge in Manchester.

Welcome to HOMEBIRD 4 – the decade is 1996 – 2006. These are my London Mercury / Talkin Loud / Azuli Records / Defected Records / Diesel and Diesel U:Music and Notting Hill Carnival / Miami Winter Music Conference / Billboard years. I think I went clubbing in London four nights a week and I still got into work on time the next morning. I dj’ed internationally when time allowed and I a&r / spotted then signed Afro Medusa Pasilda. I was also responsible for the press campaign that took Roni Size and Reprazent to the Mercury Music Prize and The Brits.
