Launching next week, the UNITED WE STREAM (GM) service will put the Manchester music and creative industries on the global stage when it broadcasts a diverse blend of entertainment and creativity on one free online platform. The brainchild of Gareth Williams (GMCA) and Sacha Lord (Parklife, Warehouse Project) and in collaboration with United We Stream (Berlin), United We Stream (GM) aims to stream live DJ sets, music and performances from 7pm every week. It promises something for everyone to enjoy while the country spends more time indoors.
I am honoured to be in the line up for the inaugural week of UNITED WE STREAM alongside Gareth Brooks, Solardo, comedian Justin Morehouse and poet Tony Walsh amongst others. My vibe? Expect some house, disco and some sleazy tech if I get a long enough set. All donations (pay what you can afford) will support Manchester artists, culture and charities.
