LHM and The Cause team up to celebrate three decades of London house on Friday Dec 27th.
Inviting some of the capital’s most important (and enduring) house DJs who have been pivotal in moulding our city’s house scene over the last thirty years. DJs who held residencies or ran some of London’s most seminal house nights. Tracing a line from early 90’s scene setters like Flying, Yellow Book and Queer Nation through institutions like The End, Faith, Rulin’, Lazy Dog, Boy’s Own and Soulsonic to current favourites like Tribes, ALFOS, Deep Into Soul and Feelings.
Confirmed so far on the heavyweight sound systems in rooms 1 and 2 are Clive Henry, Terry Farley, Bushwacka!, Sean Johnston, Neil Pierce, Colin Dale, DJ Paulette, Stuart Patterson, Luke Howard, Jaye ward, Linden C, Dom Chung, Karl Karlson and Will Buckley.
Plus in room 3 we invite some of our favourite alternative selectors dropping everything from disco to afro to funk to reggae to go-go, basically the sounds you will have heard in the backrooms of house clubs over the last 30 years. Step up Mr Shiver, Simon Kurrage, Andy Taylor, Cam Brott and Terry Childs.
There are a limited number of £10 tickets but they won’t last long.
Donations will be made from door and bar sales to The Cause’s regular charities, Mind in Haringey and C.AL.M..
