This is the live mix that was streamed when I was a guest on Luke Unabomber’s E Soul Cultura TV show 19/05/2023. It’s a banger. And if you want to know what I’m eating – that’s Oh / Mei Dumpling .. Yum!
It is my greatest honour to receive the DJ Mag Top 100 2022 Lifetime Achievement Award. I accepted this award on behalf of Manchester – it’s such a rare occasion when anything like this is awarded North of Watford plus I have a sneaking suspicion that I am the first woman (black woman) to win it which makes it even more special and historic. This is also to prove that you don’t have to be an Instagram influencer with millions of followers to make your mark. If you can make a difference, be fearless and make a difference. This is also for anyone who gets knocked down nine times and stands up ten. I see you. And so do they.
September’s all star guest for the Paulette Takeover on Reform Radio is Razor N Tape’s JKRIV – we are not worthy.
Welcome to Accaliberation a two-hour celebration of the beauty of vocals, lyrics and songs. This month I’m in a Virgo and Libran mood, celebrating the birthdays of Gary Bartz, Archie Bell, Dee Dee Sharp-Gamble, Marlena Shaw and Taana Gardner. Dive in, the water here is lovely.
I did a mix for Eats Everything’s ‘Edible Beats’ show – you can listen back to it here 😁
If you were there, this is what you heard and saw and if you weren’t this is what you missed. Mighty Hoopla AfterParty at Electric Brixton – you were the most.
I’ve made a Flesh Spotify playlist in honour of the massive Hacienda – Nude, Hot and Flesh party at Tobacco Docks in London on Good Friday (15/04/22).

Sweltering in the current heat, I remembered Spike Lee’s ‘Do The Right Thing’ and thought ‘why not share some of my favourite black music from movie soundtracks for my show on Worldwide FM?’. So this is what I’ve done.
The inaugural first Defected WHP is comin atcha like Cleopatra this December.
For July’s second Reform Radio Takeover (yes to those five week months) – my guest mix controls were blessed by Henriquez – one of the residents for the mighty Mancunians – Zutekh. It’s a beautifully eclectic mix which is deep, techy and electronic and I am sure you will show him plenty of love with the listens!
Keeping it fresh and up to date, here is my July Reform Radio Takeover with one of Chicago’s finest, DJ Heather, at the controls for this month’s guest mix.
I am proud and honoured to take the opportunity to update your mix supply with downloadable, stellar guest mix from real house music royalty – Fred Everything (Canada). I drop some new tunes as usual for the second part of the show. You know the coup. Feel free to like, subscribe and leave a welcome back comment. Next month’s guest is DJ Heather so if you want to hear that too ..leave a message.
This is so beautiful – I am deeply touched & honoured to be a part of BBC 6 Music’s LOUD AND PROUD alongside these absolute legends today. Thank you BBC 6 Music for inviting me – FM, DAB or via IPlayer, BBC Sounds
ANTON STEVENS – DIRECTOR OF HIDDEN CLUB (MANCHESTER) is next in my line of men you should know about. He’s a music loving Mancunian born and bred, a Leeds University graduate, a techno dj, an events organiser and promoter, a club director, a blindfold-level nappy changer and a grafter who eats hard work for breakfast. He is the Director of Hidden Club in Manchester aka Anton Fitz (DJ) with a 360 understanding of clubbing from artist to promotion, marketing and events and he gives a deep insight into where his natural affinity to the job comes from and the behind the scenes graft required to take him from being a 13 year old schoolboy handing flyers out for his birthday party to maturing into a keen business man who can keep one of Manchester’s finest underground clubs running like clockwork even during the pandemic.
This is the live stream that was shot by Steve Machin (Concert Vision) at my residency PEOPLE LIKE US at Escape To Freight Island for The Chill Out Tent After Party on the 21/05/21.
Welcome to Press Play! – A new concept for Twitch, where DJs share their genre-non conforming knowledge, beats and basslines. It’s a game of 90 minutes that nearly didn’t make it to air thanks to my Anker Hub exploding and my not having a back up (a lesson learned, back up bought and thank you full moon). But after half an hour of nerve wracking, technical jiggery pokery – the lovely (and very patient) Dave Brown Face Timed me – and my WFH set up – right back on air … and for that I owe him a great debt of gratitude. Enjoy.
Next stop on the HEAR HEAR journey around the world for International Women’s month (because a day is nowhere near enough time to show all the women who influence and inspire us some love) is Manchester. In Episode 4 I celebrate the Divine Feminine version 2.0.2.1 with a true Manchester legend, celebrity, singer, Manchester United fan, dog lover and my HEAR HEAR INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S MONTH ICON – ROWETTA (MCR, UK). She’s a Proper Mancunian with a heart of gold and I’m honoured to have gained an audience with this absolute Queen.
In celebration of the Divine Feminine and for International Women’s Month version 2.0.2.1. I’ve crossed the Atlantic landing in NYC for a Zoom audience with all round powerhouse, artist, producer, remixer, dj, fearless activist and cat whisperer LAUREN FLAX. She’s a New Yorker from Detroit and she has a lot of tea to spill.
