Sobs. Only six more sleeps to the end of my HOMEBIRD exhibition at  The Lowry. How do I feel about this? Well, it’s been the most incredible journey from start to finish. I’ve had the honour of working alongside Michael Simpson (Director of Visual Arts) and Laura Biddle (Galleries Co-ordinator), and the pleasure absolute of collaborating with a top flight design team – massive props to Sean Longmore, Hannah Tinsley, Hannah McLennan-Jones  and Nicky Jones – all have helped me to filter, transform and translate my ideas, archive oddities and memories into the awesome work of art in the maze in Gallery A – there until October 14th.

Thanks also to my collaborators – Michael Anthony Barnes Wynters (Sticks And Stones wall, I Am The One and Paulette Goes Bang videos), Stanley Chow (exclusive portrait – copies available to buy in the Lowry shop), Cheryl O Meara and Silvia Hoya Mena (the scapecoat lives) and photographers Elaine Constantine, Soyad Mahat, Lee Baxter, Annapurna Mellor, Louise Rhodes and Peter J Walsh. For full credits see the final wall in the exhibition and full Sheroes collage credits are available on the Lowry site.

Should you need a little motivation to catch it before it closes…

If you visit The Lowry this Tuesday (9/10) or Saturday (13/10) afternoons &  I will be there – floating around (and filming a few interviews) and available to answer questions / explain exhibits / have a general chit chat.  #neverforget

Plus plus plus – the six bespoke Spotify playlists that I curated and created for this exhibition are live and can be joined via The Lowry website here: https://thelowry.com/whats-on/edit-03-homebird-dj-paulette/
