Thank you Scotch And Soda for inviting me to play for your Summer Sessions. Crank up your speakers for a mini isolation mix that’s short and sweet and packs a mean punch. Dancing shoes mandatory.
My fourth isolation takeover for Reform Radio features a guest mix from UK house music legend Michael Gray (Full Intention).
Glastonbury Festival as we know it did not happen this year, but in amongst the timber, paint and theatre props at Block9’s London warehouse HQ, a broadcast ran from 9pm till 3am showcasing DJ sets from Norman Jay MBE, Heidi , DJ Paulette and Batu_music for each of their Glastonbury Festival venues – Maceo’s, NYC Downlow, Genosys and IIcon. This is your link to view the show again.
RSVP to get on the list to Gilles Peterson's Club Unity, which opens its doors to all this Saturday from 2pm.

In response to the Music Industry’s Black Out Tuesday and Black Lives Matter, Gilles Peterson programme for Stay Home, Rave Safe on 6Music and his Saturday session became CLUB UNITY – a space for reflection, education and celebration through black music. You can listen here for the next 20 days.
My June Isolation Takeover for Reform Radio jumped to the inimitable sound of Gina Breeze – one of my favourite dj / producers and a super friend too. I’m in for the second half to jack and bounce you all the way to your peak end. Enjoy. And don’t forget to show us some love in the hearts and reposts section or subscribe to my Select for exclusive content.
Accaliberation is where I let my nosey alter ego explore my obsession with and love of the voice and vocals. May’s theme is ‘Deep House’ – so grab a mic or a hair brush, your song sheet and your favourite patch of home dance floor for two hours of total accaliberation.
Here is my Reform Takeover for the merry month of May featuring the awesome king of all things eclectic, Mr Luke Unabomber. It’s a belter.
Hacienda House Party-Part II-Live Stream made the BBC News last night. Over a million streams and no-one in the room. I make a little cameo in the clip, created by Hilly MC. Wonderful stuff. #livestream #virtualfestival #thisismcr
Last week I had the honour and the joy of joining my friends at Pxssy Palace and BBZ London for an Isolation Boiler Room session.Move the furniture back, turn the lights down and fire up the smoke machine. This is how it goes down when we rave at home alone 😀 …
It is a rare occasion when the planets align in such a way that a great party, its solid line up and a banging set in a banging room is captured live for diffusion later. Here is the opening of my set from Homoelectric at Hidden, February 8, 2020 just for you.
Here is my first show of the year for Reform Radio and my first show of this bouncing, beautiful, fresh and new decade. Who better to launch us into the house stratosphere than Juliet Sikora – Kittball Records co-founder, DJ, Producer (of some of my favourite club tracks) and all round shero.
It’s such a massive boost when someone you love, respect and look up to as a maverick and a game changer says nice things about you. This is what Luke Unabomber had to say that brought the sun out on a very moody day.
Here’s a beautiful after-video that slipped the net from La Discotheque x Bluedot Festival. It was a special full moon, that weekend in July and here’s your proof.
In Gabriel Szatan’s own words: And it’s a testament to Mancunian hardiness that hundreds brave the arctic conditions to cavort to local hero DJ Paulette doling out fruity house numbers on an alfresco terrace.
Eleven months into the year and there is no sign of letting up for the Paulette Takeover on Reform Radio. For November (Movember) I invited my first male guest in months … Mr James Curd … to take the controls for the first hour and here’s how it went down.
In the words of Gilles Peterson: blast from the past… with @dj_paulette1 and @normanjaymbe back in 98 on the eve of a short lived but tremendous residency we all held together in the Eve Club on Regent Street… the thought of clubbing in the West End now feels like a bygone age
The legendary music bible Straight No Chaser is 100 and this is why you should buy a copy.
Welcome to the second Paulette Takeover in August – oh the joy of five week months 😀 This show features the incomparable skills of Mr Shoom himself – Danny Rampling – one of the founding fathers of UK rave and a cornerstone of the international house music scene.
Oh, oh … 😲 it was time to ‘get up offa ya seat and repeat’ for sure!!
This is how I came to slay and rocked the party 🎉 on the Southbank when I closed the @nationaltheatre River Stage on Saturday August 3rd 2019.
My photo set status from Facebook goes a little way to recapturing the magic that was Bluedot. La Discotheque was LIT LIT LIT. I loved every minute of it.
I was rifling through my archive videos on Facebook and stumbled across this clip from the BURN FG DJ AWARDS 2007. The awards were voted by the public and I was a relatively new resident in Paris. To say I didn’t realise what weight I was punching at then is a total understatement but when you see the talent in the room you will know immediately.
Shot in the gloriously sunny 30th anniversary of the summer of love 2018, i investigates how women shaped a decade of rave revolution. Huge thanks to Heather Saul, Sarah Howell and the i-Paper for creating, sticking with and running this little masterpiece.
I am always getting stopped in the street by people who were at the Black Coffee party at Mint Lounge in Manchester. I smashed the party that night and this is the closing set that did the damage (I played an equally well received, marvellous and eclectic opening set that sadly wasn’t recorded). I topped and tailed the headliners – Black Coffee – and Themba on May 6th 2018. The mix was a front page, featured ‘Mix Of The Month’ on the Evermix site (when they featured DJ mixes) and I was super proud of that.
