I’m traversing the globe for International Women’s Month (because a day is nowhere near enough time to fit all this in) to present a series of interviews in celebration of the Divine Feminine version 188.8.131.52. This week, I’ve crossed the Atlantic landing in NYC for a Zoom audience with all round powerhouse, artist, producer, remixer, dj, fearless activist and cat whisperer LAUREN FLAX. She’s a New Yorker from Detroit and she has a lot of tea to spill.
In this interview we book ourselves in again for 2051, talk about women’s health, tackle creativity in the time of COVID, discuss Detroit, Mike Huckaby, DJ’ing and spiritual growth; get angry about civil rights and sexual misconduct and plan a post-lockdown weekend in New York. Buckle up. It’s a wild ride and the language is a little fruity from the outset. Enjoy.
