#ONETOWATCH – BOILER ROOM ISOLATION SESSION – PXSSY PALACE X BBZ LONDON

Last week I had the honour and the joy of joining my friends at Pxssy Palace and BBZ London for an Isolation Boiler Room session.Move the furniture back, turn the lights down and fire up the smoke machine. This is how it goes down when we rave at home alone 😀 …

In the Boiler Room’s own words: you can’t get much more rave Royal than DJ Paulette … and this is how I showed up for them …

Suffragette colours ‘Votes For Women’ sash & all objects around me in the clip are symbolic / historic / local. Historically The Suffragettes was a movement started in Manchester by Emmeline Pankhurst (the woman pictured on the mug I sip my T from) sourced from @themanchestershop . ‘I’d rather be a rebel than a slave’ is her quote. The speech bubbles 💬 on the black curtain contain the names of the Manchester people who helped me to create / produce the stream at short notice and my super #Theyro Nadine Artois at Pxssy Palace who has my back in such a beautiful way. The ‘Mancunian Way’ as printed on the s-shirt is a bit of an in joke – as I couldn’t really do anything any other way. Moreover it is a real address / road sign and a true postcode M1. The Mancunian Way is also the oldest road in Manchester (little play on the age thing there too), it was originally built by the Romans and still the key arterial road from which all other roads spring forth. My T-shirt is sourced locally from a company called @northerncouture. The Mirrored hat was created by Brett Dearden @creativeheadspace and my portrait is a Stanley Chow @stan_chow original that was created for my HOMEBIRD exhibition at The Lowry Art Gallery in 2018.

Massive thanks to Dan Tait @pioneerdjglobal for the rush delivery of my controller.

Hope you enjoy the show!
