SWEET HARMONY / RAVE TODAY opens at the Saatchi Gallery on Friday 12th of July. My interview in the accompanying coffee table book is illustrated by the works of four of my favourite photographers Lee Baxter, Daniel Newman, Lou Rhodes and Andrew Aitch. Who’d have thought those four pictures would find their way to the #SaatchiGallery, eh?
I spoke to Resident Advisor’s rapier sharp interviewer Martha Pazienti Caidan about life, the world, the universe, dj’ing, the music industry, equality, diversity and talking to slugs. It’s a 90 minute listen that you can download and listen to on Itunes and add to your Spotify collection too. I can’t tell a lie, this is very much a dj #goals #bucketlist moment for me. #proud #gratitude – and huge thanks to Mark, Martha and all at Resident Advisor for making me feel so welcome on the day.
I am really looking forward to speaking on this panel today and watching the two episodes #Work and #Dress of Pandora’s Box featuring the award winning Joan Bakewell. Event starts at 15.20 sharp!!

This is one of my favourite interviews. I eat a bit and talk a lot to Ben Brown (Manchester’s Finest) at Volta. The interview is a half hour watch but you can catch a 10 minute quickie if you head over to IGTV.

Shot in the gloriously sunny 30th anniversary of the summer of love 2018, i investigates how women shaped a decade of rave revolution. Huge thanks to Heather Saul, Sarah Howell and the i-Paper for creating, sticking with and running this little masterpiece.
The fifth episode of #CreativeConversations is now LIVE! Lucy Butler had a chat with the dazzling DJ Paulette about her recent event at The Lowry, her community work with Reform Radio & NCS – National Citizen Service The Challenge, and of course her career as a DJ.
This #BlackHistoryMonth, MCR:Live caught up with their favourite person DJ Paulette to chat through her own musical heroes and the ways in which Black music & culture has helped to shape Manchester.
Thank you The Lowry for this little clip from the Private View of #Homebird – if you have a free afternoon do go and check it out – we’ve all poured a lot of love into it.

If my selection of actual, tried and tested, ‘wake up guaranteed’ alarm calls doesn’t make you leap out of bed, into the shower, leap out of the shower, into your clothes whilst dancing around your bedroom in your knickers and lip-synching into your hairbrush then you need defibrillating now. For real. These are the best wake up tunes ever. I know. I use them every week.”
Massive thanks to The A-Magazine for including me in their round up of Manchester Women Of The Year. It is a massive honour yet also very humbling to be considered in such esteemed company. I can’t lie, it feels so good to get some recognition for what I do, and especially in my hometown.
Here is a lovely Kamila Rymajdo interview that is online now at http://theskinny.co.uk – it’s about me, of course. And Manchester. And Pride.
